From our beginnings, the goal was clear: to empower and inspire women and girls to love themselves just the way they are. This is why from our first year we began to have workshops on natural beauty, identity and empowerment.

We have reached more than 5,000 latina girls through our workshops and our comic, which teaches them about their constitutional right to have curly hair. In order to reach more girls and continue our purpose, we have created the Miss Rizos Foundation, an entity that will focus in the bold mission of working in favor of the eradication of racial and gender discrimination, promoting the education of society and the empowerment and economic development of girls and women in the Dominican Republic.

The main projects we collaborate with are "Soy Niña, Soy Importante" Camp and Latinas Líderes, both in the Dominican Republic.
